About the Role:
Join KIDS 'R' KIDS Learning Academy of SOUTHERN HILLS as a Preschool Teacher, where you will inspire young minds in a nurturing and engaging environment. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Assess and document children's progress and communicate effectively with parents.
- Facilitate daily activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Support children's emotional and social growth through positive reinforcement and guidance.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching young children.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing demeanor.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
- Team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and families.
